Parish Play Areas

The Parish currently have three play areas in each of the major settlements:

The play equipment adjacent to Vicarage Lane, Olveston dates from the Millenium with an agility trail, multiplay equipment as well as older swings, seesaw etc.

The play equipment sited behind the Parish Hall in Tockington is the newest equipment and funded predominantly by the adjacent preschool although it is open to all.  The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) has now been refurbished for 5-a-side football and as a third tennis court.  It is also used as an additional car park when the Parish Hall is Busy.

The Equipment at Old Down between the Scout Hut and the Queen Alexandra Memorial Pavilion is currently the oldest, and the Parish Council would welcome resident support to refurbish it with suitable equipment.  The equipment was repaired in 2016,
